For private patients
PD Dr. Knierim is an expert for heart disease. He completed his training as an internist and cardiologist in Berlin and Potsdam. Before taking over as chief physician of the Paulinenkrankenhaus in January 2022, he worked as senior consultant at the German Heart Center Berlin. He specialises in the treatment of patients before and after cardiosurgical procedures, the treatment of patients with heart valve disease and the treatment of patients with heart failure. PD Dr. Knierim is a nationally and internationally recognised expert for the ultrasound examination of the heart (echocardiography) and has published numerous articles on this subject.
Together with his team, he offers private patients cardiological support and diagnostic services as well as all common internal examinations, including gastroscopy and colonoscopy.
